House Business Advisory Committee (HBAC) of the Senate Thursday decided that the current Senate session will continue till September 6. The HBAC of the Senate met here on Thursday and was presided over by Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani. The committee discussed in detail the business to be transacted during the 293rd session of the Senate. The HBAC also decided that the current Senate session will continue till September 06, 2019.

Besides the introduction of the government and private members bills, calling attention notices, adjournment motions and resolutions, the session would take up discussion on current situation in Indian Held Kashmir and other important national and international issues. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwalla, Leader of the House Senator Shibli Faraz, Leader of the Opposition Senator Raja Muhammad Zafarul Haq, the parliamentary leaders of the political parties in the Senate including Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Senator Usman Khan Kakar, Senator Sirajul Haq, Senator Sajjad Turi, Azam Khan Swati, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Secretary Senate Muhammad Anwar and other senior officers of the Senate Secretariat.
